Many sites say that they are FCRA compliant, but beware. In most cases they are FCRA compliant only if their reports are not used for employment screening or the other areas to which the FCRA applies. Read the fine print carefully. If the site does not say that it can correct errors in criminal records, it cannot be legally used for employment screening or most other business uses. Many sites attempt to evade this issue by simply posting a link to the FCRA notice.
